Spent an hour in my hometown this afternoon – around Potton's Diamond Jubilee Fete. They really went to town and everyone was in a very patriotic and celebratory mood. The VIP guest list was bizarre cocktail of Pam Rhodes and Peppa Pig.

Cambridge
Popped into town last night for a bowl of risotto and glass of red. The market had all been closed down for the day with just this old bicycle leaning up near one of the stalls. Stereotypically Cambridge!

Chillin' on the arbour
Never work with children or animals they say! Pixie is pretty used to me taking pictures, but getting her to sit centrally in this arbour was an impossible challenge. She's almost in the middle... and this was the only photo I managed to take where she wasn't either barking, or leaping off the seat towards me!
GB Sports Therapy
New prints have just been installed at GB Sports Therapy's Gamlingay clinic. Very pleased with the framing thanks to The Picture Gallery in Bedford. Not sure what Herman the skeleton makes of it all though... I have three other print commissions underway at the moment – and will blog about those soon.

Porridge
These were taken this morning at Eton College Rowing Club in Royal Berkshire. What a scorching blue-sky day it's been! I developed a particular fascination with this green flag, as I sat waiting for Georgie to get changed after her first Open Water Swim. As it gently flapped and swayed in the light breeze, it seemed to be dancing around the sun. Shooting into bright sunlight, burnt out highlights and lens flare, breaking all the photographic rules, but how long did I spend photographing this flag? Quite a while. And yes, we can vouch for the fact they did indeed serve very good porridge – we had some for our breakfast!
